Conrad Knutsen has been actively pursuing an artistic career since the age of 20. Born in 1954 in New York he has close to 30 years of professional experience as a fine artist and commercial illustrator. His work has been published in many publications and is exhibited in many galleries across the U.S.

Conrad is currently illustrating a series of images for postage stamps for countries around the world. Although his art is realistic in nature he likes to play with color and texture to evoke a simple beauty to his viewers. He enjoys a variety of subjects but prefers the feeling of nature, which is reflected in his still lifes.

Mr. Knutsen currently resides in Pennsylvania where he works as a freelance illustrator and pursues his fine art from his studio in the country. During his free time he enjoys teaching art at a nearby college.
